Hearing the Music

Can you hear the music?

Or are you just going through the steps?

Life innately contains, by divine hand, an underlying music, a joy, that is continually available.  Sometimes we find ourselves going through the steps of life without enjoying this essential piece that is our gift and birthright, simply because we are God’s children.

Are you doing things out of obligation, feeling you have no choice?  Truly, you do have a choice.  Look at the “why” behind how you spend your time.  Recognize your enabling power.  Remove aspects of your life that are not serving you, and with the rest, acknowledge that you are choosing those activities to remain because it really is best.  When you are doing that which is right, it opens a divine hand to give you the gift that accompanies it.  “If you have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can you feel so now?”

Embrace the joy that each moment can hold.  Take some time to listen, if you haven’t yet, to “Everyday JOY – 3 simple steps to access happiness today”?  It’s available here.

Joy is not the absence of suffering but the presence of God.”  Joy comes from being connected to divinity.  Are you getting “plugged-in”?  I highly encourage you, each and every morning, to put a routine in place that connects you and feeds your soul.  Even if it’s only 20 or 30 minutes.  Take the time to tap into that source of light and power.  Perhaps it includes prayer, scripture study, meditation, or journaling. It doesn’t take time from your day, but rather expands it.

You are wonderful, gifted, and have so much to offer.  You have that touch of divinity within you.  See it, awaken it, claim it.  Do the dance you came to do and enjoy the music.
